HK Community Scholar HK Community ScholarOne high school senior currently enrolled in a local high school will be designated as the HK Community Scholar for that community, to be used for an undergraduate degree at the college of his/her choice. Depending on availability of the funds, the scholarship will range from $1,000 to $5,000. Local Scholarship fundsThe Fund will make an annual donation to scholarship funds that focus on qualified local students who need financial assistance in order to attend college. Financial Assistance for Extracurricular ProgramsThe first items to be cut from school budgets tend to be the extra-curricular programs. The Fund's philosophy is that these programs are vital aspects of personal growth, are integral in each student's educational experience and are important components of Community Spirit. A pending Request for Funds form will be provided to offer assistance. |
